Cheetah Mobile (CMCM): AgentOS Robots Doubled Q3 China Revenue
Summary
Cheetah Mobile’s AgentOS robots doubled Q3 China revenue year over year, but the company has not isolated the AI system’s revenue or profit contribution.
On June 10, 2026, Cheetah Mobile Inc. (CMCM) said on its first-quarter earnings call that AgentOS service robots remained in use for reception, guided tours, and intelligent services, but consolidated operating figures cannot be treated as stand-alone revenue results for the system.[1]
Cheetah Mobile Inc. (CMCM) applies artificial intelligence to internet products and service robots. Its robotics business earns revenue from hardware sales, deployments, and related services. AgentOS Service Robot Interaction is an AI application for service robots used by visitors, customers, and staff in exhibition venues, restaurants, retail locations, and public-service settings. It helps robots understand spoken intent, answer questions, and activate skills for guided tours, reception, patrolling, and promotion. The application sits at the core product layer of the company’s robotics commercialization.
From LLM-enhanced interaction to a commercial product
AgentOS evolved from LLM-enhanced interaction into a named product that Cheetah Mobile could sell and deploy. On September 13, 2024, the company said language models were already helping service robots better understand end-customer inquiries and respond to requests in live settings.[5] In March 2025, Cheetah Mobile formally named the same interaction workflow AgentOS and said Chinese distributors were using it to sell Cheetah robots, clarifying the productization path.[4] By March 2026, a new version of its voice robots offered guided tours, patrolling, and advertising as built-in, ready-to-use skills, moving the application toward scaled delivery.[2] On June 10, 2026, the company continued to identify reception, guided tours, and intelligent services as commercial scenarios with real customer demand, but it did not update stand-alone operating figures for AgentOS.[1]
Robot revenue shows commercial traction, not AgentOS economics
The clearest commercial evidence appeared in hardware revenue rather than separate reporting for the software system. In the third quarter of 2025, revenue from voice-enabled wheeled robots in China doubled year over year for a second consecutive quarter, indicating sustained product-level revenue growth.[3] Cheetah Mobile later said its China voice robots achieved 100% year-over-year growth for three consecutive quarters and contributed a high-single-digit share of total fourth-quarter revenue.[2] However, the latter growth measure did not specify whether it referred to revenue, unit sales, orders, or another basis. The two disclosures therefore cannot be combined into a growth curve for AgentOS itself.
AgentOS could support voice-robot revenue and total company revenue by expanding the number of service scenarios the robots can handle, attracting new customers and repeat orders, increasing shipment volume, and supporting some pricing premium. That transmission path is also affected by hardware capability, channel coverage, delivery timing, pricing, and other robot functions. Cheetah Mobile’s reported figures cover the full robot product and do not separate the sales-volume, pricing, or gross-profit contribution from AgentOS.
Cheetah Mobile has established that LLM-based interaction is an important product layer in its robotics commercialization and has reported supporting evidence in robot revenue growth and revenue mix. It has not established how much revenue or profit AgentOS generates on its own. Assessing the application’s independent economics would require disclosure of AgentOS-equipped robot sales, average selling prices, revenue, and gross profit.
