LATAM Airlines Group S.A. (NYSE:LTM) is the largest airline group in Latin America, headquartered in Santiago, Chile. Founded in 1929 as LAN Airlines, the company transformed into LATAM Airlines Group following its merger with Brazil's TAM Airlines in 2012. After navigating through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization process that concluded in 2022, LATAM successfully returned to public trading on the New York Stock Exchange in July 2024.
