Eagle Materials Inc. (NYSE:EXP) is a Dallas-based construction materials company founded in 1963 that produces and supplies heavy construction materials and light building materials across the United States. Originally known as Centex Construction Products, Inc., the company went public in 1994 and changed its name to Eagle Materials in 2004. Eagle Materials operates through four primary business segments: Cement, Concrete and Aggregates, Gypsum Wallboard, and Recycled Paperboard, serving both commercial and residential construction markets as well as public infrastructure projects.
