Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. (NYSE:WPM) is a Canadian precious metals streaming company founded in 2004 and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Originally established as Silver Wheaton Corp., the company changed its name to Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. in May 2017 to better reflect its diversified precious metals portfolio. The company went public in 2005 and has grown to become one of the world's largest precious metals streaming companies, with interests in 23 operating mines and 13 development projects across multiple continents.
