Originally incorporated as Amorfix Life Sciences Ltd., the company rebranded to ProMIS Neurosciences in July 2015 to better reflect its focus on precision medicine for neurodegenerative diseases. The company went public in 2007 and currently trades on NASDAQ. ProMIS specializes in developing targeted therapies for devastating neurological conditions including Alzheimer's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and multiple system atrophy, using proprietary computational algorithms to identify novel drug targets.
