MGP Ingredients, Inc. (NASDAQ:MGPI) is a Kansas-based company founded in 1941 that has evolved from a traditional grain processing operation into a diversified producer of distilled spirits, branded alcoholic beverages, and specialty food ingredients. Originally established as a grain elevator and flour mill in Atchison, Kansas, the company has transformed significantly over the decades, particularly following its 2021 acquisition of Luxco, a premium spirits brand portfolio.
