Lithium Argentina AG (TSX:LAR) is a Swiss-headquartered resource company that develops lithium projects in Argentina's lithium-rich northwestern provinces. Originally incorporated in 2007 as Lithium Americas (Argentina) Corp., the company rebranded to its current name in January 2025 following a corporate migration to Switzerland. The company owns interests in two major lithium projects: the producing Cauchari-Olaroz operation in Jujuy province and the development-stage Pastos Grandes project in Salta Province. After years of development and construction, Lithium Argentina achieved commercial production in 2024, producing 25,400 tonnes of lithium carbonate and establishing itself as an emerging player in the global lithium supply chain.
