Kimbell Royalty Partners, LP (NYSE:KRP) is a publicly traded master limited partnership that acquires and owns mineral and royalty interests in oil and natural gas properties across the United States. Founded in 2013 and based in Fort Worth, Texas, the company went public in February 2017. Kimbell has grown to become one of the largest mineral and royalty companies in the United States, owning interests in approximately 11.4 million gross acres of mineral rights and 4.7 million gross acres of overriding royalty interests across 28 states, including ownership stakes in roughly 122,000 gross wells.
