New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc. (NYSE:EDU) is a Chinese private education services company founded in 1993 and headquartered in Beijing. Originally established as an English language training institute, New Oriental became one of China's largest private education companies before undergoing a major business transformation following China's "Double Reduction" policy in 2021, which severely restricted K-12 academic tutoring.
