Sumitomo Corporation announced plans to expand its aircraft leasing business, aiming to increase its managed fleet to over 2,000 aircraft, the world's largest, through increased purchases of used aircraft and acquisitions of peers, targeting a business profit of 50 billion yen in fiscal 2030, up 20% from fiscal 2026.
