The FDA provided regulatory guidance to Acurx Pharmaceuticals in meeting minutes from a July 13, 2026 Type C Meeting, indicating openness to a single Phase 3 trial registration plan for ibezapolstat and agreeing that a successful IBZ-ASPIRE trial supported by the IBZ-PATHFINDER Phase 2 trial could allow an NDA filing for both treatment and reduction of recurrence of C. difficile infection.
