Kanamoto Co., Ltd. announced its consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of fiscal year ending October 2026 (November 2025 to July 2026) increased 31.1% year-on-year to 15.7 billion yen, and for the May-July 2026 quarter increased 44.0% year-on-year to 5.06 billion yen.

Honda began a demonstration project on August 20, 2026, to electrify a construction site using its swappable batteries at the Torch Tower complex under construction near Tokyo Station, running until the end of March 2027, with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government overseeing the project and selecting Honda and construction machinery rental firm Kanamoto as operators, with Mitsubishi Estate and Shimizu Corporation cooperating.
