China Oilfield Services subsidiary SPT Energy Group, Inc. completed drilling the China Oil and Gas Group Limited exploratory well in Indonesia's South Sumatra Basin, reaching a depth of 9,032 feet and identifying 42 gas-show intervals with a combined thickness of 560 feet; the company said preliminary interpretation indicated potential oil and gas reservoirs.
