Summary

Pegasystems started every new implementation in six months with GenAI Blueprint, and the listed apps went live in under 100 days, with no financial figure given.

On its October 22, 2025 earnings call, Pegasystems Inc. (PEGA) said the customer applications designed with Pega GenAI Blueprint all went live in under 100 days.[1] The company did not convert any of those durations into a change in revenue or expenses.

Pegasystems sells enterprise workflow and customer engagement software. Its buyers are process-heavy institutions such as banks, insurers, telecom operators and government agencies, and its revenue comes mainly from Pega Cloud subscriptions and term licenses. Pega GenAI Blueprint is its generative AI design tool. Business and IT staff describe in everyday language how a task should be handled, or upload documentation, interfaces and database structures from a legacy system, or even a recording of someone operating that legacy system while narrating it. Blueprint then produces a complete design: process steps, roles, data structures and back-end integration points. Pega's workflow engine turns that design into a running application.[1] The users are existing customers and partners, and also Pega's own salespeople, who now build a demonstration of the prospect's own process during the first meeting. The tool sits on the company's core business.

Three shifts in how Pega has reported Blueprint

The public readings on this tool have changed basis three times in a little over a year.

On the July 25, 2024 call, Blueprint was still described as a design tool for business and IT teams mapping processes together, and the disclosed measure was output: tens of thousands of Blueprints created over the preceding few months. Management said that nailing down an app design used to take weeks or months and now takes hours, while making clear that not every design becomes a Pega system or current-period license revenue.[2]

On October 24, 2024, the user base extended to Pega's own sales force. Salespeople previously ran a series of meetings and brought in a solution consultant at roughly the third or fourth meeting to run a client-specific demo. After the change, they run that demo in the first meeting almost always.[3]

On July 23, 2025, the basis shifted to institution counts and delivery time. More than 1,000 organizations worldwide were using Blueprint to produce designs, and Vodafone said it had taken a budget process from ideation to a delivered production app in under 40 hours. Over the same period the tool learned to parse legacy-system material, extending it from drawing designs into modernizing older systems.[4]

By the October 22, 2025 call, the readings had shifted entirely to delivery time. Management said every new implementation over the past six months had been started by Blueprint, and that many of them were already running in production.[1]

What the latest numbers actually cover

The figures in this quarter's disclosure have different scopes.

The under-100-days figure refers to the specific customer applications the company listed on the call, taken together. How long each individual project took was not disclosed, and none of the customers were named.[1]

The compression from months to days describes the internal decision process at one unnamed new customer. The interval of about a month refers to the gap between the first Blueprint being produced and the deal being signed.[1]

The statement that every new implementation over the past six months was started by Blueprint speaks to internal prevalence. It shows that new projects begin there; it does not show that those projects exist because of the tool. The company did not disclose how many implementations it delivered over those six months, so there is no way to see what share of the business these improvements cover.[1]

Where these durations could show up in the financials

The financial reading these durations are most likely to reach is annual contract value (ACV). Earlier demos, a customer decision compressed from months to days, and a signature roughly a month after the first design all point in the same direction: new customer contracts are formed earlier, and therefore land in annual contract value earlier. Applications going live within 100 days let customers see something running sooner, which in theory helps later expansion and renewal.

A second path runs through expenses. A client-specific demo that used to require a solution consultant on site is now produced by a salesperson alone in the first meeting.[3]

Both paths are, for now, only directionally consistent. Everything the company offered on this call was operating duration and usage scale. Nothing tied Blueprint on its own to incremental revenue, gross profit, expenses or cash flow, and most of the cited customer cases were unnamed, leaving no denominator to check against. What runs in the production environment is Pega's workflow engine; Blueprint handles the design stage in front of it.[1]

What is confirmed and what is not

The operating change that can be confirmed is that Pega's presales and delivery can now be measured in days and months: the demo has moved up to the first meeting, the applications the company listed went live in under 100 days, and one new customer deal was signed about a month after the first design.[1][3]

What has not been separately quantified is what that acceleration is worth. That would require the company to disclose, on a comparable basis, the share of annual contract value coming from new-customer deals that involved Blueprint, or the year-over-year change in average new-customer sales cycle days.

That whole engagement model is already meaningfully changed. And they now do the demo in the first meeting almost always.
