Inuvo IntentKey Activity Nears 10x as Clients Grow

Inuvo says generated-audience activity grew nearly tenfold after IntentKey added five clients, but internal use prevents a direct revenue conversion.

On August 11, 2026, Inuvo, Inc. (INUV) disclosed on an earnings call that activity around IntentKey-generated audience models had increased nearly tenfold, showing a clear expansion in product use. The activity includes both external customer engagement and internal sales support, however, so it cannot be converted directly into paid usage or audience-modeling revenue.[1]

How IntentKey fits Inuvo's business

Inuvo, Inc. (INUV) operates advertising technology and services businesses, earning revenue mainly by placing digital ads across social, search and programmatic advertising channels. IntentKey Audience Modeling is an AI audience-modeling product for advertisers and marketers. It uses large language models to understand real-time semantics and consumer intent, generates adaptive audiences without relying on personal identity data or cookies, and applies those signals to media buying and bidding.

From bidding integration to broader adoption

By May 14, 2026, Inuvo had integrated AI audience models into advertising bidding logic and added five IntentKey customers during the quarter.[2] By August 11, 2026, activity around generated audience models had increased nearly tenfold, with use expanding across external engagement, internal sales and customer support. The users, audience models and bidding tasks remained continuous; the change came from wider adoption.

Five new customers in one quarter is a clear commercial-adoption metric, showing that enterprises had begun using IntentKey for advertising campaigns. It does not disclose the contract size, media budget or continued usage of those customers.[2] The latest near-tenfold increase measures activity across a broader scope than external paid use. The two metrics therefore cannot be combined directly into average customer usage or a rate of revenue growth.

IntentKey's potential financial destination is audience-modeling revenue. More advertisers connecting to and consistently activating models could increase media buying and the use of managed services or software, supporting related revenue. Customer mix, sales execution, platform integrations and internal activity can all affect the data, however, and Inuvo has not isolated the AI functionality's standalone revenue contribution.

Inuvo has advanced IntentKey from bidding integration and new customer additions to a higher level of audience-model activity, confirming the direction of broader product adoption. The next evidence needed is a separation of external paying customers from internal activity, together with the related media spend and audience-modeling revenue. Until then, usage growth is confirmed, but the economic conversion still lacks a direct bridge.
