Cellebrite (CLBT): Genesis AI Evidence Tool Nears $1 Million ARR

Cellebrite's AI evidence-analytics product Genesis grew recurring revenue from $400,000 in June to nearly $1 million by August 2026, still small against total ARR.

Cellebrite (CLBT), the Israel-based digital forensics company, disclosed on its Q2 2026 earnings call on August 13, 2026 that its AI-powered evidence-analytics product Genesis grew recurring revenue from about $400,000 at the end of June to nearly $1 million by the call date — a fast ramp that remains small relative to the company's overall revenue base [1].

Cellebrite sells software licenses and subscriptions to law enforcement agencies, prosecutors and corporate investigation teams worldwide. Its core products help investigators extract and interpret digital evidence — photos, text messages, call records — from phones, surveillance footage and other devices. The AI capability at the center of this disclosure first appeared inside Pathfinder, a core tool rather than a peripheral feature: it automatically surfaces leads across large volumes of digital evidence, finds connections between pieces of evidence, and produces analysis investigators can use directly to advance a case.

From Pathfinder to Genesis: How the AI Capability Scaled

On its November 14, 2023 earnings call, Cellebrite disclosed that a U.S. state police department had bundled a purchase of Pathfinder with Premium services, lifting that account's annualized recurring revenue five-fold to $900,000 [2]. The AI evidence-analytics capability kept scaling from there: by the end of 2023, roughly 200 agencies were using Pathfinder [3], and by the fourth quarter of 2024, Pathfinder's annualized recurring revenue was growing 35% to 50% year over year [4].

In the first quarter of 2026, Cellebrite introduced Genesis, a next-generation product covering a broader span of the investigative lifecycle. In early access, Genesis attracted more than 500 registered users across over 15 countries within eight weeks [5]. By the August 13, 2026 call, Genesis had moved from early access to a paid product available to all customers, using the same investigative evidence-analysis workflow — it was not renamed and was not folded into another business line [1].

What Genesis Delivered This Quarter

Genesis runs on usage-based pricing. It had accumulated about $400,000 in recurring revenue by the end of June, and management said that figure was pushing toward $1 million by the time of the call — the central disclosure behind this quarter's annualized-recurring-revenue growth. Genesis added more than half a dozen new customers in the quarter, with some individual orders approaching $200,000 [1].

A related product launched around the same time, Guardian Investigate, also factors into the AI story: management said its pricing premium over the baseline Guardian Forensics product is tied directly to the volume of evidence data it stores and to its built-in AI capabilities [1].

Management attributed this recurring revenue explicitly to Genesis as a single product. When the company set its 2026 plan, it had assumed zero revenue from this category of AI product [1] — meaning this revenue stream sat outside prior growth expectations and is now a distinct, trackable source of ARR growth.

What Remains Unquantified

The dollar figures disclosed so far are still small next to Cellebrite's total recurring revenue. Management has not identified a single customer use case that dominates Genesis usage, and it has not broken out the size of the pricing premium Guardian Investigate commands over the standard Guardian Forensics product [1].

Where This Stands

Cellebrite's AI evidence-analytics capability has moved from a feature embedded inside Pathfinder to an independently priced, separately tracked product in Genesis, and that product is now generating real recurring revenue. What is not yet known is how large the Guardian Investigate pricing premium actually is, and whether Cellebrite will quantify these AI-linked products as a distinct share of total recurring revenue in a future earnings call.
