Q&A highlights

Q: Just wanted to understand maybe more where Silicom could fit in with the ongoing AI narrative.

A: Opportunities in NICs for inference and training systems, FPGA to bridge gaps in proprietary communication/protocols in AI systems, and edge systems for edge inference. Have opportunities in all areas, some more advanced, some exploratory.

Q: Looking at the presentation, you also have some large opportunities with service providers and some telco equipment. Just curious of the spending environment in those 2 in the telecom industry, if that's getting better or if there's certain things that are pushing spending or new types of hardware there?

A: Have discussions with service providers (Tier 1, 2, 3) and OEMs/enterprises. Customers see need for products for next generation and to support their customers, so see good opportunities with design wins likely with service providers.
