Segment performance

For the fourth quarter, Genworth reported a net loss of $1 million. Adjusted operating income was $15 million, led by Enact's strong performance contributing $137 million. For the full year, net income was $299 million or $0.68 per share with adjusted operating income of $273 million. Enact contributed $585 million to adjusted operating income for the full year.
