Segment performance

Laboratory Solutions: Revenue was $1.17 billion for the quarter, growing 0.6% organically year-over-year. Consumables and services performed well, with equipment and instrumentation demand improving modestly. Adjusted operating income was $152 million with a 12.9% margin. Bioscience Production: Revenue was $543 million, an organic decline of approximately 3.5% versus prior year. Bioprocessing, making up about two thirds of the segment, outperformed expectations and was roughly flat year-over-year. Guidance
