Toho announced on August 4 that it will postpone the release of the theatrical film "TOKYO MER: Capital Crisis," originally scheduled for August 21, out of consideration for the Kumamoto earthquake that occurred in July; a new release date has not been set.

Toho and Toei are re-entering the U.S. market by simultaneously distributing and streaming their hit Japanese content, including Godzilla and Kamen Rider, with Toho's film 'Godzilla Minus One' releasing in the U.S. on November 6, only three days after its Japanese release.
