Convanno announced a share buyback of up to 45 million shares (8.85% of issued shares excluding treasury stock) or 4.5 billion yen, with the acquisition period from October 1 to March 31 next year, including purchasing 37,289,600 shares for 3,728.96 million yen from major shareholder Dimensional in an off-market transaction and market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, with all acquired shares to be cancelled as soon as possible.

Convanno reported its fiscal Q1 (April-June) results on August 14, with net profit surging tenfold year-on-year to 1.19 billion yen, reaching 20.5% of the full-year plan of 5.82 billion yen.
